Rava kesari

1/2 cup Rava
1/2 cup + 1 tbsp sugar
Pinch of cardamom powder
Drop of rose essence
Pinch of orange food color
1 1/2 cups of hot water
1 tbsp ghee
Few cashews and raisins


1. In a kadai heat ghee and roast cashews and raisins. Shift to a plate.Meanwhile prepare hot water side by side.
2. In the same hot ghee roast the area for 2-3 mins.
3. Now add hot water to the area And let it cook completely.
4. Add sugar,food color, cardamom powder and rose essence. Stir until sugar dissolves and kesari gets thick.
5. After reaching semi thick stage switch off the flame and add roasted cashews and raisins.
If required add a tsp of ghee on top of it.
