Mutton Soup (Lamb Rib Soup)

  Mutton soup(Margandam) Ribs of lamb. Its good for cold and flu.It also prevent from many mineral deficiency. Its one of our favorite soup. Simple recipe with few ingredients.

Ingredients

Mutton bones- 1/4 Kg(Cleaned & washed)
Onion- 1 big chopped
Tomato - 2 small chopped
Green chilli - 1 slit
Coriander powder- 3 tsp
Toor dal- 1 tbsp- /
Turmeric powder tsp
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Salt
Coriander leaves- few

Tempering

Oil- 1 tsp
Jeera - tsp
Curry leaves- few

Method

1.Clean the bones.In a pressure cooker add all the above ingredients except salt. Add required water and pressure cook for 6-7 whistle or until mutton gets cooked.


2.Now open the lid and pour little water and add salt. Allow it to boil for 5 mins.


2.Now temper jeera in oil with few curry leaves. Add in the soup. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot!



 Easy mutton soup is ready!


Notes

1.Second step, you can add water as you need for the soup consistent.
2.Add salt at-last always for the mutton.

We can mix this soup in rice and give for toddlers. Its a healthy recipe for them.
